I am mom to a fiery little girl, Islah, and am expecting baby number two this autumn. I am married to my best friend, Aaron, and we have a mutt, Roxy. We currently reside in Charleston, South Carolina.

I am a high school English teacher, who believes all great stories have even better lessons, the greatest thing a student can learn at school is to think for themselves, and writing is the most powerful skill that a person can have.
Be Well
I believe healing, physically, mentally, and spiritually, starts from the inside, and works its way outward. I love sharing products, tips, and practices that have helped me achieve health in these areas.
My Dream
As an aspiring author, my hope is to travel the world and speak to young women, helping them achieve their fullest potential. I want to spread joy, and help others find it in the most unlikely places.
Passion
I love words, first and foremost. I believe when used properly, they can be the most powerful tool a person can utilize. Words have the power to tear down, and build up. One word can change your life.
Services I offer
Tutoring
With tutoring, I offer help in all Middle and High School English classes (7-12). This includes essay writing (including college entrance), essay editing, text analysis, and critical responses. Basically, I will help your student with all things related to English/Language Arts.
Writing
I offer a wide variety of writing services, from blog posts, emails, and resumes, to ghost writing chapters for both fiction and non-fiction works. I also write curriculum for 7th to 12th grade English classrooms, including lesson plans, entrance/exit tickets, and formative and summative assessments based on your states standards.
Editing
I offer services to proof read and copy edit both fiction and non-fiction pieces. This is different from tutoring, as this is for authors and businesses looking to perfect their written text before publishing. I also offer transcribing services if you prefer to send an audio format.

I am partnered with a wellness company that focuses on building a better you from the inside out.
